Born 8 March 1879 at Montreal. He married Clotilde Madeleine Couturier, and the seventeenth arrondissement of Paris carries the marriage in its register for 1 December 1911 as a TRANSCRIPTION, which in French practice means a marriage celebrated elsewhere and copied in afterwards at the couple's French address. So the wedding itself was probably in Montreal, and the act has not been found. He died at Saint-Hyacinthe on 25 August 1952.
